Who we are
Alan Montesinos
During his time as Founding Head of a leading Mexican independent school, Alan supported countless families throughout their children’s education, from nursery through to high school graduation, giving him a deep understanding of what students need and what matters most to parents.
His experience as a school leader gives him an unrivalled perspective on education. He understands how schools operate, what children need to succeed and feel supported, and how to build a strong relationship between parents and their child’s school. He also understands the questions and concerns which families face when making important educational decisions.
With an in-depth understanding of the Mexican and British education systems, Alan is uniquely placed to help families navigate the transition to a British boarding school and understand how that experience can complement their child’s education in Mexico.
Jenny McGuigan
Founder
Educated at the University of Nottingham, Jenny has built her career across the British and Mexican education systems, working in secondary and higher education. Her experience includes working as an International Admissions Officer at a leading British boarding school, giving her first-hand knowledge of the international admissions process and a clear understanding of what makes for a positive international student experience.
Having worked closely with students and families, Jenny understands that finding the right school is about much more than academic results. It is about finding a community where a student feels they belong, can thrive and make the most of the opportunities available to them. Drawing on her experience in both countries, Jenny provides families with personalised guidance throughout every stage of the school search and admissions process, helping each family make informed decisions to find a school where their child can thrive.
